    • Page number correlation, footnotes and end notes, etc.
  • Grammar and Usage Errors
    • Sentence fragments and run-ons, subject and verb agreement, inconsistent parallelism, incorrect pronouns, essential and non-essential clauses, missing apostrophes, missing capital letters
  • Spelling and Punctuation

Copyediting

Perhaps you’re having trouble with structure, content, or organization of your ideas. In that case, copyediting might be for you. Here’s how copyediting goes beyond proofreading:

  • Clarifying ambiguous statements or assertions
  • Correcting structural, organization, or conceptual problems
  • Pointing out inconsistencies or discrepancies
  • Streamlining or revising figures of speech, redundancies, hyperbole, or euphemisms
